Epitasis is an upcoming exploration puzzle game. It explores distant and far off worlds, scattered with ancient technology that echos of a time long past. It encompasses ancient cryptic puzzles, mysterious treasured relics, and large sweeping vistas and metallic and overgrown ruins. The player must learn how these ancient technologies work and use them to explore and discover the fate of the ancient race that called these places home. If they can, they might just have a chance at getting back to their own.
HistoryHow it began
In January of 2016, Lucas Govatos began working on Epitasis, but it originially started as a horror game. After abandoning the project for several months and having a vision of a green field and orange planet, he took the project and began working on what it has become today. In May and June of 2016 while traveling through Costa Rica and staying at animal rescue hostel, inspiration struck and brought thoughts of color, wilderness, and the feeling of exploration that Lucas was trying to find for Epitasis. After Costa Rica, Lucas returned and began working on Epitasis almost full time. While still going to college for computer sicence, he still dedicates almost all his free time to crafting Epitasis and plans to release sometime in the near future.
